15% off with Capitec Live Better Benefits

Capitec cardholders get 15% off Greyhound and Citiliner bus tickets for travel all year round when purchasing bus tickets using your Capitec card. Note, discount only applies when booking through a Greyhound/ Citiliner outlet- Greyhound offices, on our websites or via our call centre.


Childrens Discount

*Under 2 years – Free if not occupying their own seat

*2 years to under 12 years old- 15%  discount off the adult fare.

*12 years and older – Adult fare

*If more than one child under the age of 2 years accompanies the same adult the second and successive child pays the child fare

*Children under the age of 12 have to be accompanied by an adult over 16 years of age, at full fare.

*At least one adult over the age of 16 must be present for each infant under the age of 2 years.



*Pre-booked and Standby bookings

*Valid Force Card and ID Book must be produced when booking and boarding the coach

*Bookings may only be made at Greyhound outlets in person by the staff member

*The discount does not apply to telephone bookings

*Discount is available on cash payments Only

*The Steinhoff/Unitrans employee must produce Identity document, Copy of the Pay Slip or Staff Card

*The discount is ONLY applicable on tickets purchased for the member, spouse and children


Student Discounts

* 10% discount available to tertiary education students.

*Valid student cards to be produced upon booking and boarding the coach.
