Orlando Pirates tour Greyhound
On the 25 February 2019, we welcomed five of the Orlando Pirates soccer players to the Greyhound Johannesburg depot to film for their TV series Up the Bucs. This visit was to give the players a behind the scenes look into how Greyhound Crown Mines operates. Players Justin Shonga, Augustine Mulenga, Mthokozisi Dube, Innocent Maela and Linda Mntambo were taken through the workshop where they were shown how the busses are routinely checked, tested and serviced.
The players were then taken through to our call centre in a Greyhound Dreamliner and sat in the lower deck Premium seats stretched out, relaxed, taking selfies and thoroughly enjoying themselves.
At the Call Center, they got to experience first hand where the magic happens and meet some of their fans. Linda Mntambo was so enthralled by the call centre, he took his skills off the field and operated our call centre line like the champion he is.
