Franschhoek Summer Wines

This event is held on 4 February 2017 at the Leopard’s Leap Family Vineyards, R45 Main Road, Franschhoek. Let’s celebrate summer with some award-winning wines. This event is popular amongst many a connoisseur and avid wine drinker.

TransCape MTB

If cycling is your thing, why not register for the TransCape MTB from 5 – 11 February 2017. This event kicks off in Knysna’s Garden Route. It’s an iconic mountain biking race which stretches over 675km and seven days. Cyclists travel from Garden Route to Franschoek during this adventure.

George Old Car Show

From 11 – 12 February 2017 you might want to visit PW Botha College in York Street George for this unforgettable car show. If you enjoy vintage cars, then this is the event for you. This annual event sees a flock of car enthusiasts share their passions for all four-wheeled golden oldies.

Cape Town International Jazz Festival 2017

From 31 March 2017 – 1 April 2017, Jazz fans can visit the Cape Town International Convention Centre in Lower Long Street, Cape Town CBD for the Cape Town International Jazz Festival.

Africa’s grandest gathering is the largest, most respected Jazz festival in Sub-Saharan Africa. Around 38 000 jazz lovers worldwide flock to this festival for a good fix of their favourite rhythms.  This is the 18th event of the annual festival.

Cape Getaway Show

The Lourensford Wine Estate in Somerset West is home to the Cape Getaway Show from 31 March to 2 April 2017.

This event is the Western Cape’s biggest travel and outdoor show which is in its 8th year running. This year, however, visitors can expect the biggest show yet. Good food, craft beer and specials are but a few surprises waiting for guests.

Cape Town Comic Con 2017

From 29 April – 1 May 2017, comic fans can dress up as their favourite characters and visit Cape Town International Convention Centre for Cape Town Comic Con. In only its second year, this young event is popular among enthusiasts. Comic-lovers and aspiring artists and writers are invited to join in on the fun.
