Dreamliner is Greyhound’s solution to business class travel by bus. It offers General Seating which gives you access to features such as an emergency toilet, 24-hour tracking, drive cam, on-board hostess and service. Then with the Luxury Class features added include audio/visual entertainment, individual aircon vents, aircon and heathers, seatbelts, leg rests, individual reading lights, individual tray tables, earphones available for purchase and individual arm rests. Lastly Business Class offers 1:2 seating configuration, memory foam seats, 180 degrees recliner seats, individually removable tray tables and a secluded cabin. While prices are available upon booking, it doesn’t wander far off from that of the Greyhound coaches, depending on the class you choose.

  1. Citiliner

Unitrans’ more affordable offering of the three is perfect when travelling in a group, arranging trips for a group or would just like to save a few bucks. The most luxury of the fleet offers 52 luxury reclining seats with seatbelts, 2:2 seating configuration, individual air vents, individual reading lights, audio/ visual entertainment, aircon and heating, emergency toilet, 24-hour tracking, individual arm rests and individual tray tables. The most affordable trip from Johannesburg to Cape Town on one of these buses clocks in at R450*.
